Crash! Bang! Pow! 2 people are fighting each other. Suddenly, one of them turned into a yellow-colored, nine-tailed fox. What is this? This is anime. A tool to make animated TV because anime literally means animation. Anime is just the japanese word for animation. People all around the world watch it. Turns out, the idea of anime was started by a 1951 manga story Astro Boy. The author, Osamu Tezuka became a pioneer of anime years later because of his manga and is credited with the success of anime worldwide.Most people who watch anime are around 20 years old, but it is getting popular in other age groups like 8-12 years old. It is not just popular in age groups , but countrywide too. The top 3 most anime-popular countries are Japan (no surprises there), Philippines, and Saudi Arabia.

Genres

There are also genres. Like for people who like action and adventure, then the action and adventure genre is just for you or if you like sports there’s a whole genre about anime sports! If you like robots the mecha genre is just for you. Shonen is for boys and men. Shoujo is for girls. Teen stuff is in Seinen. If you want stuff for adults there is Josei, Ecchi, and Harem. Note that Ecchi and harem are just for adults. No KIDS! I haven’t watched any of the adult stuff, I don’t know anything about them. Isekai is all about fantasy for fantasy lovers. If you just want to watch anime life stuff then go to Slice of Life. Kodomomuke is all about stuff for kids. Iyashikie is all about soothing shows that are sort of like Slice of Life.

The Liking

So. Why am I telling you this? Like I said before, why do I like it? Well, I will tell you now. First off, I will tell you my top 6 favorite anime. It goes like this in order: Naruto, One piece, Fire Force, Sword Art Online, and My Hero Academia.The first thing I want to say is I like how the main character always has these goals. I always like them because that is how the story always keeps on going. Like in Naruto, Naruto’s dream is to become the hokage and that is what always keeps him going. I also really like how they have these deep bonds. Every time the main character(s) make new friends, those friendships last forever. I think that is very logical because if the main character(s) are in a fix their friends will help them out. Another thing I like about anime is that the main character(s) always work really hard to achieve what they want. Like Koga, the main character in Saint Seiya Omega works hard to be able to defeat lots of foes. Another thing that I like is how they never give up. If they are badly beaten or injured they will always get up and fight back. That determination is usually what leads them to victory. Another thing that gives them this determination is their goals or resolves as I like to call it. I also really like the way that they fight a lot of powerful foes and always come out on top. This is partly because of determination and their skill set meaning what kind of attacks they can use. I also really like the way that the villains have reasonable desires, but the problem is that they fail to see what will happen to others through their desires. Like Mars, the first villain in Saint Seiya Omega wants to create a new world without suffering, but in doing so, he will destroy Earth. Also that world he wants is where the strong rule the weak and we want everyone to live happily. I doubt the weak people he is talking about will like it. Another problem is that Mars is using the planet Mars to create a new world, but by using Mars all the cosmo or life force of everything will have to be transferred to Mars. In doing so, he will kill all the humans even if they surrender because there will be now way to transport humans to Mars. So even if Mars’s (the god) family is on mars there will be no way to reproduce and all the animals, plants, and the human race will be lost forever.
